Smart Construction S.A., a trusted construction company based in Chania, Crete, successfully completed a comprehensive program of maintenance, repairs, and related construction actions across school buildings throughout Chania. Awarded in July 2019 and completed in July 2021, this public education infrastructure project with a contract value of €691,381.86 represents one of Smart Con’s largest and most wide-ranging school maintenance contracts in the region.
Spanning the 2019–2020 period and covering multiple educational facilities across Chania, the project addressed a broad scope of construction needs — from structural repairs and safety-critical remedial works to functional upgrades and general maintenance interventions. Every school facility included in the program received targeted works aimed at improving the physical condition of the building, ensuring the safety of students and staff, and extending the operational lifespan of the infrastructure. All works were executed to high technical standards and in full compliance with Greek public works regulations and school building safety requirements.
