Smart Construction S.A., a leading construction company based in Chania, Crete, successfully completed the rehabilitation of warehouse buildings and the former community store in Perivolia, Chania. Awarded in July 2020 and completed in February 2021, this public works project with a contract value of €160,891.22 is a strong example of Smart Con’s ability to breathe new life into disused or deteriorating public buildings, transforming them into modern, functional spaces that serve local community needs.
The project involved comprehensive structural repairs and improvements to the existing warehouse buildings and former community store, addressing both safety and usability. Works included restoration of the structural fabric, interior renovations, façade improvements, and upgrades to mechanical and electrical installations — all carried out to high technical standards and in compliance with Greek public works regulations.
